The fact-finding team of six State agencies explained the result of investigation regarding protest and the ensuing violence in August–September 2025. The findings were presented in a press conference with representatives of agencies, including the National Human Rights Commission, Indonesian Child Protection Agency (KPAI), The National Women’s Rights Commission, the National Disability Commission (KND), the Witness Protection Office (LPSK), and the Indonesian Ombudsman on Monday (20/4).

Lembaga Partisipasi Perempuan (LP2) launched a Buku Jurnal Puan (Book) Volume 2, a collection of young feminist writings who attended feminist write workshop batch 2. In the zoom meeting on Thursday (9/4), the moderator and writer, Eka Hindra said that writers would emerge from Lembaga Partisipasi Perempuan (LP2). And that was confirmed by Adriana Venny, resource person and the editor of Jurnal Puan Vol. 2 that there was a debt from the previous generation – re. draft law on domestic workers protection and draft law on indigenous communities, which necessitated the re-birth of feminism.

The coordinator of Civil Society Coalition for Draft Domestic Worker Protection Law Ratification, Eva Sundari, stated that on the eve of Kartini Day, it was ironic that the draft domestic worker protection law was not ratified yet, as there had to be respect and appreciation to women in a variety of sectors, as human resources. Domestic workers’ contribution was highly critical, but the State ignored it not only procedurally but also in terms of its management. This was because there was no certainty where the position of the draft law was at this moment in time, whether it was still at the parliament or at the government. The polemic was revealed during a press conference on Wednesday (15/4).

The Surakarta Court conducted further trial for alleged incitement of democratic action that resulted in chaos at the end of August 2025, in Surakarta on Monday (30/04). The trial set an agenda for the pronouncement of the judges’ verdict. The pronouncement with regards to the three defendants - Hanif Bagas Utama (26), Bogi Setyo Bumo (27), and Daffa Labidulloh Darmaji (21) - was given in two decisions.
