The judges indicated that the defendants were not proven guilty of committing crime, despite the fact that they called for action through social media. Their action was deemed expression of aspiration and freedom of expression, not attempt to incite chaos as suggested by the prosecutor. “To acquite all defendants of all charges by the procesutor and to order the defendants be released of prison after the court ended,” said the judges during the pronouncement.

The happy moment filled the court room with screams of joy and claps for the victory. The victory was not just for the defendants, but for the whole population. Euphoria continued by walking alongside Hanif, Bogi, and Daffa while chanting the slogan “People united cannot be defeated” and singing the song that suggested the release was a victory for workers and peasants.
