1. We, the women of Indonesia, which include hundreds of organisations and individuals, sent this letter to the head of Parliament – Puan Maharani – to sign draft law on the protection of domestic workers.

2. We, the women of Indonesia, have seen extensive violence and discrimination, and atrocities done to domestic workers. We want you, Puan Maharani, to stop those by signing the draft law on the protection of domestic workers.

3. We, the women of Indonesia, have fight alongside domestic workers in Indonesia for 20 years, and waited for the draft law to be signed, and it is in the hands of the head of Parliament – Puan Maharani as other parliament members have agreed to support the signing of draft law.

4. We, the women of Indonesia, will send this letter to all parliament members and leaders, to the president of the Republic of Indonesia and to the public in general in order to show the urgency for Puan Maharani to speak up and not be maintain her silence on this very important issue.

5. We, the women of Indonesia urge Puan Maharani to leave a legacy at the end of her tenure that will benefits women, and Marhaen people in this country.
We implore the head of Parliament, Puan Maharani tosign the draft law on the protection of domestic workers.
